Arsenal Football Club are reportedly stepping up their efforts to sign injured Italy left-back Riccardo Calafiori from AS Roma. The 20-year-old has been a long-term target for the Gunners, but a series of injuries have prevented him from representing Italy since 2020.

Calafiori is a product of the AS Roma youth academy and has made 21 appearances for the first team. However, he has been hampered by injuries in recent seasons, and has not played since suffering a knee injury in February 2022.

Despite his injury problems, Calafiori is still considered one of the most promising young left-backs in Europe. He is a quick and攻撃的なdefender with a good crossing ability. He is also comfortable playing in a back three or as a wing-back.

Arsenal FC are in need of a new left-back following the departure of Sead Kolasinac to Marseille. Calafiori would provide competition for Kieran Tierney and would be a valuable addition to the squad.
